This is a Full Body Strength x weighted pilates workout with a pilates bar kit or dumbbells and ankle weights/bodyweight. This routine includes:
*Standing arm and leg work-using the pilates bar similar to a barbell for strength exercises or a set of dumbbells

*Lying lower body work- for feet in straps exercises (mimics a reformer machine in a Pilates studio), with pilates bar or ankle weights/bodyweight (no equipment)

Strength training is incredibly beneficial for those who have goals of weight loss. The exercise selection includes many strength training exercises, as well as Pilates based exercises for strengthening and stretching.     LOVE! As always I love the options to up the intensity where and when desired. I did most of them half and half which felt great. To anyone else doing this I recommend shoes if you don’t have good padding under you (I did not wear shoes and think I will next time)! Great exercise and surprise sweat!!

    My husband and me really enjoyed the Pilates Bar workout. We hope you have more bar workouts coming! Do you know if there is an extender for the Pilates Bar? My husband is retired military and the smaller length of the bar was difficult for him to position over his shoulders.

    I am doing the 28 day challenge everyday. I have Pots syndrome though so standing exercise can sometimes be difficult. I unfortunately had to skip this one today😢. I did just finish the one after this though

    I completed my day 1. Recently i started walking 10000-12000 steps and decided to do pilates on my rest days. Would you recommend doing this every 2 days or everyday? You make it look so easy and simple!

    Today i switched my 28 wall pilates exercise to 14 days. Day 1 ✅ Unfortunately i had to modify every single move. also my legs were diagonal, no bridges or no bending.. no weights etc. I just straightened my legs and tried to do moves.. Hope my knees won’t hurt again cuz they’re in so much pain. aches, hurts and I don’t wanna cause any MORE pain. I’ll see my physiotherapist next week and will try to figure out what happened to my knees, i was just trying to do wall pilates! Why it caused me so much knee pain idk.. Hope this terrible knee pain is gonna leave me so soon. hope it’ll work for me ❤ thank you Dear Rachel ❤

    The three results I’m looking for are to tone up, set up new healthy habits and gain strength. Thank you for your videos. I can see your passion come through. I also liked the idea of asking myself daily what I can do to minimize the uncomfortable feelings that may come up. That way I can plan ahead. Adapt and overcome!     What if your neck hurts when you raise it from the mat. Will you obtain the same results keeping it flat?

      I would try to support your head with your hands, and rest/stop early if you need to. do as many comfortably with your head up, then keep it down to be comfortable. you'll built it up over time!

    Day 8 (2 July 2024) Another late one as we have guests but thanks for a great full body work out. Sitting at my desk for too long today and this has definitely helped my back and upper arms feel like they have had a workout. Really enjoying making time in day for these work outs.

    Thanks for this challenge, day one complete! I'm in my 60s and walk 10,000 steps. I've been wanting to add strength training and stretching so this will be perfect. My hamstrings have always been tight, I'm excited to see what I'll feel like at the end of the month.
